JASMINE ROMANO, M.A., LAPC
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
Jasmine Romano, LAPC, was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. She decided to leave the Lehigh Valley to pursue her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services at Elizabethtown College in central Pennsylvania. Jasmine later returned to the Lehigh Valley to complete her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling at Moravian University. During her graduate studies, she earned certifications in telehealth, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma therapy, while also developing skills in helping individuals manage anxiety and depression.
During her time at Moravian University, Jasmine spent three semesters working with St. Luke's Psychiatric Associates outpatient program in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This experience allowed her to work with many individuals and showed her that she likes working with a wide age range. Coming to work at Otto Psychological Associates, Jasmine is looking to work with children, adolescents, and young adults. More specifically, she will work with ages 5 to 30. Throughout her time at Otto Psychological Associates, Jasmine will complete the requirements to become a licensed professional counselor.
Jasmine strives to create an office environment that is both safe and comfortable, ensuring clients feel free to be vulnerable without fear of judgment. She provides a variety of materials for clients to take home, as well as in session activities designed to help them explore their emotions and inner selves more deeply.
Outside of her therapy sessions, Jasmine enjoys practicing self-care through activities such as coloring with gel pens, listening to music, and playing with her cat, Lucky.
