Licensed Professional Counselor

Noelle Kantra is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Noelle was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. She attended Southern Lehigh High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from DeSales University. She later received a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College.

Noelle enjoys working with adults and adolescents ages 16 and up.  She works well with trauma, anxiety, depression, challenges unique to the LGBTQAI+ community, and those dealing with family of origin issues. Noelle has five years of experience working with survivors of interpersonal violence, as well as experience at a college counseling center and outpatient mental health clinic. She utilizes person centered and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, as well as mindfulness and trauma focused skills, though her approach varies according to need.

She has been described as kind, validating, and accepting. Noelle recognizes that clients can often be the experts on their own experience. She uses gentle guidance, curiosity, and when appropriate, humor to help clients better understand themselves and discover their own strengths and resources.

In her spare time Noelle enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, running, and tending to her many houseplants and two pet lizards.

Noelle believes we all have the capacity for success and resiliency. She recognizes that therapy can be hard work, but it is also an opportunity for healing and meaningful long-term change. She looks forward to meeting and working with you soon!
