REBECCA SPOONER, M.A., LPC

Rebecca (Becca) is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. Becca earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Geneva College, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from La Salle University.

Since 2013, Becca has worked in a variety of behavioral and mental health settings, providing her with the opportunity to support individuals with varied backgrounds and concerns. These experiences have strengthened her ability to meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs, goals, and experiences.

Becca enjoys working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and difficulties with stress management. She is also passionate about supporting individuals and families through life transitions, including the transition to parenthood and the postpartum period. Becca strives to create an inclusive and supportive therapeutic space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to better understand themselves and embrace their individual strengths and identities.

Becca takes an individualized approach, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. She works to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment where clients feel accepted and empowered to be their authentic selves. Becca believes therapy is a collaborative process and works alongside each client to build on their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, navigate challenges, and move toward meaningful personal growth and healing.

When she’s not working with clients, Becca enjoys spending time outdoors, knitting and crocheting, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with family.
